I've listened to their debut and to the new singles, and christ.. If you're gonna repeat a chorus so many times and rush all the other parts of the song to get to it, at least make it good. I'm yet to hear something memorable from this band.

But I do love that chorus, Connolly can write a hook...

Ech. I think the album won't be anything for my taste.

Well, quite curious for this one. It's got a pretty good recension by Aardschok-magazine. Among the monthly top 10 albums............

Does the album have a release date? The website of the record label which is obviously stuck in 2006 only says something about "all new 2017 release".

Nice album ! Like it a lot ! Hoping this band will once find the opportunity to tour. Will probably never happen. It's simply always Alter Bridge or Tremonti-time................

Seconded. Would love to see these songs live. Hoping John does a guitar play through of all the tracks like he did for Human. I would love to play a few of these.

I actually heard the album through Spotify. Did you search for Ignite my Insanity? The only things I saw on Projected's page was the Human album, then I found out they got another one and it had Ignite my Insanity.

Thank you. Seems like they set up a whole new artist profile for that album. They really need some better marketing guys if they want Projected to become more than a fun project.

Kind of thinking that's all it is to them. Hope I'm wrong.

Bought the album! I'll have a rating soon, but I like what I've heard so far.

I finally had a chance to listen to the entire album and my overall impression is that it doesn't do much to change how I feel about Projected: An OK band that I follow and support anyway because of my love and respect for all of the members' other bands. That being said, I feel like the biggest issue with Ignite My Insanity is that there are just too many tracks. If you were to listen to the best songs by themselves and treat them as a single album, I really think it sounds a lot better:

Vain
Gamorrah
Heaven Above
Only
Ignite
Call Me The Devil
Inhuman
Seconds
Battlestations

So to summarize: I probably wont be listening to Ignite My Insanity much again, but "Ignite My Insanity - Greatist Hits" is a solid album.

I never got into the first album but am giving this one a listen as we speak.
There are some amazing riffs on the album. The songs are hit and miss though. Some could (and maybe should) just be an Sevendust song if it werent for Scott's groove. And the production is so so. But it's an entertaining listen nonetheless. Will give my own 'Greatest hits' version some more listens probably.

I enjoy it. John isn't a very charasmatic front man, but he's passable. I would like to hear more ERock solos. I feel like I've heard most of John's on 7D albums.
