The guys are working on a new album. John Conolly posted some pics in the studio and a short video of Eric Friedman recording some guitar harmonics. Oh and the producer is (unsurprisingly) Elvis Baskette. https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/seven ... ted-album/
Connolly offered an update on the new PROJECTED record in an Instagram post on Friday (July 17). He wrote: "And thats a wrap!! Spent quite a bit of time in this booth, writing and tracking vocals and now, "the hay is in the barn"....... Another PROJECTED record is tracked! Time to mix. Can't thank @elvisliberace @1f_jef @joshuasaldate @thevinniehornsby @flip_drums @ericcfriedman @timothysonoftimothy and @chuckbrueckmann for all the hard work getting this thing recorded. Its been an awesome experience and couldn't have done it without such an amazing team. I'm grateful for all you guys have done and look forward to hearing it all together in the very near future. Be on the lookout for info about the release on @projected1119 and @ratpakrecords"

I liked Human and Ignite My Insanity but only revisit a handful of tracks from those records...
I am hoping to hear some more progression in their music, maybe get some longer song lengths and some more dynamics.
Ignite My Insanity was all VERY loud with the exception of Faith... Give us more acoustics!
The thumping loudness of Ignite also got in the way of John's badass riffs throughout those discs. Turn down that bass, Elvis!
Gimme something slow, gloomy and doomy with a nasty riff and some dirty, bluesy E-Rock licks.
Maybe more harmonies or even co-lead vocals from Eric..
Very excited to hear what the guys have cooked up!

Give me more hooks like Ignite, and you got a fucking record.

FYI, Ignite my Insanity was actually not touched by Elvis in any capacity at all.

From Projected's facebook post last month:
Almost that time......
Final sequence and song titles decided so, its time to book a mastering date. Album title and first single are pretty much there as well.
Wanted to give 7d and Morgan's record some time before we start announcing the rollout for the new record, but it will be coming soon. Stay tuned!!
Can't be too much longer now!! Probably not long after the holidays at this point.

I've been revisiting Projected recently and really rocked out to Human! Getting anxious to hear what the guys have cooked up during this pandemic...

Yes, hopefully it will sound more as their first one. Not much news to be discovered for this. They don't have to hold the release, as they are not goiing to tour this album anyway.
Any news on this band? I thought they broke up but it seems they've been sitting on a record?

What's going on in the Projected camp?? Radio silence. I figured once Marching In Time dropped, the hype train might start finally rolling!

Yeah the delay is weird. I'm guessing they're waiting for the sevendust and Tremonti tour to finish, I don't know why that would prevent them from releasing a single though.
