jcrowe wrote:I have to agree that the Denver show was pretty damn good! I would probably rank it #2 out of the 8 shows I've seen. A lot like the Minneapolis show as far as sound quality and the band being engaged. Minneapolis still takes the slight edge with venue and crowd. Solid set list. So much fun! Still sore from rocking so hard!
jcrowe, were you the one with the yellow Brazil shirt near the front of the line? My friends said that guy (you?) had come from Minnesota, so just guessing.
Another photobucket casualty... :(

Myles in 2015, for awhile:

January: free
February: Slash - Australia
March: Slash - Brazil
April: free
May: probably US with Slash

I think most likely that for April, Myles is still going to do some US/Canada shows with Slash. Those fans in the US are in the same situation as the AB US fans back in April where the album is released in the fall, but the fans in Europe/Australia/Asia are going to have live shows before the US.

Four days to go. Still got to watch Wembley, listen to Fortress, and sing that album in its entirety and then I am ready for the concert.

Browsing through tweets of any mention of AB. I found a certain picture that may interest us. I think what happened actually happened.

Edit: Yep, it happened.

It happened. I was up at the very front on the left. It was amazing. I almost died when they played Blackbird.
Onward to Spokane tomorrow!

What you think of the sound from where you were at, Aaron?
I was in front of Myles, and it sounded pretty balanced except for the earful of Myles guitar that I got overpowering Mark. But that's to be expected.

About to go check in for my clinic with Tremonti right now! When I talked to him last night, he said there'll only be a couple of us today.

The sound was really good when Myles was singing on the middle mic. When he went to the other one I couldn't really hear him. Prime example was Waters Rising but that was Marks song, it was better during Highway Star

Guys. My lesson with Mark was one on one. The other person that was supposed to be there had a family emergency, unfortunately.
However because it was just Mark and I, he was able to teach me a lot more. It was fucking awesome. Here's the best part though. He gave me a Working Personnel Pass, and told me I could just hang out. So I'm backstage right now

We went over his warmups and stuff like usual. Then over the legato runs and all of the patterns in the different modes. After that, he showed me some new warmups he'd been working on and some new fingerpicking stuff. Then we went over some alternate tuning and alternate picking stuff. So much stuff lol
He showed me some lick from some of the solos on Tremonti 2, which I was honored to hear. They sounded kickass.
I got to play through his live rig for a bit. It was addicting lol

Part of me wonders if this is all just a big dream right now

Meh. Highlight was the Solo section. At least they don't have to position themselves weirdly or hold the guitar a different way like they did in 2005. Don't care much for Hughes though.

Fan-fucking-tastic!!!

By the way, them doing those solos and having done them on whole tours in the past is proof they can play the solos in The Damage Done just fine (one reason they've said they won't play it live).
Photobucket cash grab.
