I bought the full version and holy crap it's amazing! The intro adds so much more to the song. I liked the radio edit but the full version... wow!!! That's how it's done! I'm so excited right now

Yeah, it's alright. Definitely sounds a bit like the Slash stuff. Only gonna listen to it a couple more times to make sure the shine doesn't wear off.

Although to be fair, I never really like their singles when they initially come out.

Agreed the intro gives the song more that AB feel that we all love changes the whole tone of the song for me and makes that riff that kicks much more impactful

So...I preordered from Amazon.com and apparently the single isn't available yet (US). Usually Amazon is really good about delivering music from pre-orders as it becomes available, and the product page shows "Show Me A Leader" as being available. But I can't actually download it.

Has anyone else had this issue with this album on Amazon? I'm sure it'll probably unlock later today at some point but I'm dying to hear a high quality version of the full-length song.

Haha I have a feeling that the album version I 'found' yesterday is of better quality than the iTunes version.
I'm getting more and more convinced of how good this song is for a single, especially for the US. This could get some real airplay imo.

I have a very vivid memory of the first time that I heard Addicted to Pain when it was released as a single; I was with my boys and after about 30 seconds I said out loud, "well, this is different....". I wasn't really sure what to make of it at the time because I was so used to what came before. I wasn't sure that I liked it.
Fast forward two years and it's always the song that I use at the gym after I've done my warm-up and I'm ready to GO HARD!

Anyway, moral of the story...this may be a grower, not a shower

Its funny you mention Trump positively with this song when this is 99% more than likely the person that the song is about

It's possible, but I think it might be aimed towards the lack of leaders right now in general. Show Me A Leader seems to suggest a true leader hasn't been shown at this point...regardless of who it is.

No more heroes to follow indeed...
