See I'm the opposite, it hasnt stuck in my head whatsoever and it took me ALOT of plays to get the lyrics. There's so many more words in this than usual Alter Bridge

To be fair, I'm pretty terrible with picking up lyrics. I have the chorus and the bridge/outro, the verses I remember parts of. =P

Yeh it's weird the first few listens...espically the "too addicted to face" then the rest of the line is sung after!

I was thinking he's addicted to face? Whose face? Lol

To me it made more sense that "face" is a verb, because there's no article, never thought about other possibilities. But some parts of the verses were tricky to make out.

My reasons for being butt-hurt are the exact same as Monty's EXCEPT that I've never been to an Alter Bridge concert. The chance I could've had to see any of the guys in concert was back when Tremonti came to El Corazon down in Seattle, but I was away at college. Plus, I've always purchased AB's records, but it is EXTREMELY tempting to download it when it's already leaked on the internet, I don't know if I have the will power to wait a week...

I KNOW I don't have the will to wait a week. I already preordered, but I plan on downloading it the moment it hits the internet. No shame whatsoever.

I'm addicted to Alter Bridge! So I've been reading these forums for over a year now and decided to make an account and start participating. So hello everyone! On the topic of the song, I agree with the people who were unsure of Addicted to Pain at first. That was the way I was too. But, as with any song I now LOVE, it took me a few listens to start loving it. Can't wait to preorder the album later this week!
