R.I.P. Alter Bridge Photographer Ashley Maile

It was tweeted out yesterday that Ashley Maile had passed away after suffering from and battling cancer at the age of 36.
You will recognize his work with AB as it was their last set of pro shots to be taken, as well as their Wembley DVD cover photos..
And also this set from 2007..
He was a good friend to the band so please join us in sending prayers and thoughts to all of those close to him.

Awwww, that is the guy that created such epic band shots? Dang, what a tragedy. May he R.I.P.

I've got a poster with one of his pictures hanging right in front of me. I didn't know who he was until now, but it's a tragedy nonetheless. 36 is way too young.

Very sad indeed. RIP Ashley. Thoughts and prayers for his family. He created some of my favorite AB photos.

So talented. Just recently I had noticed the name on a really great photograph, don't remember who the subject was. Photographers don't get enough credit. Checked out his website

A picture can tell a thousand words. His work for Alter Bridge captured the essence of the band.
It's so sad he passed away so young. RIP
