Re: UK Release
Ireland will probably have the same release date
Yay!!!!
Yay!!!!
I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday...
Re: UK Release
Am I the only one still a little peeved they aren't releasing the thing worldwide at once?

Re: UK Release
That's a dandy outlook and all, but I don't see how it makes sense from a PR standpoint. Just promotes a ton of illegal downloading from US fans.

Re: UK Release
Nope, I think it sucks too. I don't really see a reason for it and will probably lead to more people downloading it early...Andy92 wrote:Am I the only one still a little peeved they aren't releasing the thing worldwide at once?
Still excited for the album in general though!

You have a point there.
Re: UK Release
It's not as bad as AB III though...that one was like a month. I pre-ordered that album from Amazon, and when it shipped to the door I forgot it was the US release day.

Sure, I wanna bang Kim Kardashian, but guess I'll have to wait.RavishingRik wrote:Next week? I want it now!
Re: UK Release
I thought it was pretty usual for albums to be released on different days for different regions? I don't know the reason for it, but considering major labels do it so regularly, there must be a pretty good reason for it! Anyway, there's not really much to complain about, because if it hasn't leaked before the UK date, it'll definitely be all over the internet the day of the UK release date.
Re: UK Release
I know UK usually releases stuff on Monday and US does releases on Tuesday, but a lot of CDs at least come out in the same week. It's not a huge deal, but the US getting everything 2nd with AB is a common occurrence.

Re: UK Release
So this is a week before their one-off USA show too... Wonder how the fans over there will work with the lack of officially released record
Re: UK Release
Yea Jim I was thinking the same thing since I'll be at the show on Oct 4! How am I going to know the songs that they'll play from the album if it hadn't been released yet?
