I've been on Alter Bridge Nation for a couple weeks, but I never took the time to introduce myself. My name is Max. I'm 17, and I play guitar and drums. Alter Bridge is one of my newest favorite bands.

(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge?
By 1) wondering what band Mark Tremonti was in, since I already had a Mark Tremonti signature PRS without knowing who he was, and 2) by finding out that Volbeat opened for them.
(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose?
It's just a shortened version of my first and last name.
(3.) How do you spend your free time?
Playing music!
(4.) What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB?
Volbeat
(5.) What is the title of the last movie you watched?

Nice! I'm a setlist nerd, and (yes, it's embarrassing to admit) I've looked through every single Volbeat setlist that exists. For one run in 2016 they were opening for Alter Bridge, and when I found out Mark Tremonti was in Alter Bridge, I was like "That name sounds familiar." I also knew that Myles Kennedy worked with Slash, and I'd heard of Creed before (but not any of their songs, and I still haven't).

My name is Miroslav, but you can call me Miro. I'm from Slovakia (central Europe) and i'm 31 years old. I've discovered Alter Bridge only in June 2020 and they've become one of my favourite bands very quickly. I have all the CDs and l'm missing only blu-ray release of live show with Parallax Orchestra (i'll buy it soon). I've discovered this lovely message board only two days ago and i've already read some interesting topics about our favourite band. I would like to say hello to to all fans of this amazing band

My dad has the first two albums, and I got curious. He'd introduced me to Creed a year or so prior, and then I found out the musicians were the same, so I wanted to see how the music differed, if any.

(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose?
It's the name of Alter Bridge's 5th album, and it's just a cool title. I didn't want to be super cringe, but oh well.

(3.) How do you spend your free time?
Playing guitar, drawing, writing stories, reading

Funnily enough, I found them years ago through a youtube commenter arguing that there`s still good heavy music out there. They used AB as an example of great modern music.

I`m just a huge Myles fan haha.

(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge?
EDGE. Been watching wrestling for over 20 years, and Metalingus got me hooked way back when they were first on RAW with Edge backstage and heard his music.

(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose?
I am Davis. Not much else to say.

(3.) How do you spend your free time?
Youtube, Twitch, listening to AB. Not a whole lot going on here, lol.

I know it says one, but there's too many to name. Dream Theater, Testament, Orden Ogan, Unleash the Archers. Could go on.

I honestly have no idea. Not a big movie guy these days.

A friend of mine made me listen to Watch Over You and it was love at first listen.
How do you spend your free time?
I like to hang out with my friends, read, watch TV series, sing and play guitar.
What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB?
Too many, starting from Myles and Mark solo/side projects and going through Guns N Roses, ACDC, Gov'T Mule, Rival Sons, Pretty Reckless, Evanescence, In This Moment, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Stone Sour, Black Label Society, Audioslave and many more.
What is the title of the last movie you watched?
The Equalizer

(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge? - Thanks to a very special person, who spread her wings too early (jan 2011). She wanted a world made outta AlterBridge songs and was on a mission to convert "the infidels" into AB Fans (her words...and she never joked about it). Her passing hit me hard even though we never physically met. She gave me my first ever AB CD (ABIII)...so i have a special place for that album in my heart; to the extent that i don't have a favorite song from there...A-Z, every time i hear a song from there, i think about dearest Erin Freriks (may she rest in power). And thus, AB is almost all the time my choice when i want to listen to music. And i love talking about AB to other people; the music, the poetry, and the humans behind it.

(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose? - i come from Gn'R. And Slash released a record on 2010 called "Slash" and bellow that, it was the "RnFnR!" (Rock & F'n Roll!) inscription on the cover. So i took a Homer Simpson Pic and "Slashed it up" on photoshop for my Twitter profile pic...and RnFnHomer was born.

(3.) How do you spend your free time? - I work from home, i'm married and have two kids (5 and 7)...i have none. I do listen to music while working though

(4.) What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB? - Guns N' Roses

(5.) What is the title of the last movie you watched? - Forgotten (Korean - Netflix)...Recommended BTW

Welcome! Cool to see you know some familiar names from off the boards! I think Erin's name sounds familiar, didn't know her or have any interaction, but I do know she had an impact on the community.
