So far we know they're gonna support Aerosmith on Download and in Milan.

Today's news:

That Hellfest line-up is probably the best line-up I've ever seen for a festival! Very tempted to make a trip down to France for Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Soundgarden, Megadeth, Alter Bridge, Seether, Sepultra, Annihilator and Opeth!

Woo! AB will be playing on the main stage with some big fucking names in the industry. Our boys are finally getting the attention and appreciation they truly deserve! :)

Is this a good spot? Yeah they are on the main stage but kind of early in the day. Just wondering if this is a good spot

It's a decent spot, since the bands above them are Megadeth, Soundgarden, and Black Sabbath and let's face it, there's no way AB is getting a bigger placement above those guys.

I didn't know that Hellfest was that versatile. Grunge, heavy metal, prog, alternative, death. A lot of great bands are gonna perform there next year.

AB, Sabbath, Soundgarden, and Megadeth all right in a row. Are you fucking serious? Why does the US suck so fucking bad... I wish we had amazing concerts like that.

The US is like that. Don't you want to see Miley, Selena Gomez, then Biebz in a row?

That is an amazing lineup! But I just had a really awful moment where I thought it said "Led Zeppelin" on the Saturday and then I found out what it really said. =(

If this line-up doesn't deserve my first post, I don't know what will.

I can't believe I'm gonna miss the Hellfest once again. I miss it every year, I think I am cursed or something. I live only an hour-drive from Clisson, but it's always a bad timing. I will be in Shanghai next June, no chance I could come back to France for the show;

Amazing line-up, just a little bit disappointed that AB doesn't make it to the home page of the hellfest french website : http://www.hellfest.fr/splash/

I will probably introduce myself later in the appropriate thread, please just forgive possible english mistakes, cause yeah, I'm french !

Hey! Welcome to the forums, great first post. That really sucks you can't make possibly the greatest ensemble of bands over a weekend in rock and roll history.. I cant imagine how you must be feeling.

Introduce yourself when ya can and get stuck in!

Happy for AB :) , wishing I had nothing to do but fly to Europe next summer. :S

I haven't heard who's playing drums for Soundgarden (Matt will be with Pearl Jam in 2014).

I've seen all 3/4 bands at the same US festival (in different years though). Actually, I've seen a lot of those bands at US shows. But it is incredible to see all those names in one weekend.

Welcome, Yuma! Your English is fantastic. :)

Honestly, this is pretty good placement considering AB aren't as big in France as they are in some other European countries. I envy all of you who get to see this great lineup!
