What is your favorite AB album?
What is your favorite AB album?
I know this is hardly an original topic idea -- one that has likely been discussed countless times before -- but given that there is not much going on in the world of Alter Bridge right now, I thought I'd pose a classic question. Now that it has been over 18 months since AB III was released, what is your favorite of the three AB albums? And why? Which one has stood the test of time as the best? I know there is a huge range of opinions on this, so let's try to have a fun, intelligent discussion.

Shoulda made a poll. Are we including live albums on this?

one day remains. but i will say, blackbird and one by one are 2 of my three favorites. i just like more from odr
Re: What is your favorite AB album?
I thought about making a poll, but I didn't want this to be about "which album wins." I'm much more interested in having a thoughtful conversation about why people prefer one album over another.
And yes, we're just talking about the three studio albums here.

One Day Remains > Blackbird > AB III
Feel like the overall quality drops a little bit on each release. Although it's hard to judge the ODR to BB transition so easily since they changed their sound so drastically.

ABIII. I might be a little biased because that was my first album, but it has the largest majority of my top 10 songs in it. Words, Zero, Never Born, Coeur d'Alene, Ghost Of Days Gone By, and SLip to the Void. All three albums are gold, though.

Yeah... I was late. I jumped on the AB Bandwagon right after ABIII came out.

I started listening to them after Blackbird, but I always preferred the One Day Remains songs. Watch Your Words was the song that hooked me actually.

It came in Pandora one day and I loved it. I'd even heard a couple of their songs before that and wasn't as impressed lol.

I'm not sure you'd be in the minority. I hear a lot of folks saying they prefer ODR.

I like Watch Your Words a lot. LOVE the vocals. Raw, powerful, emotive and beautiful all mixed into one.
That one isn't a fan favorite, but I really like it. Then again I love literally every second of ODR.

Funny thing, I actually got a friend hooked on AB when I linked to the "misheard lyrics" video in my AOL Instant Messenger away message many years ago:
