I'm definitely not an active member of the board, but I just came upon this article and thought that some of you might enjoy the reading : "18 things only AB fans will understand".

I have also read on the same website other articles including AB songs in different rankings (Isolation on "Rock/Metal Songs perfect for your workout" is the one that comes to my mind, but the site is definitely "AB-friendly")

Arghhhh, I wish this article did not stated how AB fans bested other band's fans in loudwire cage matches in the past. That part depressed me in light of recent events. Other than that, great article!!!!

Just found this article! Yes...number one...enough said!

My other fave points: "Who?"...I have two different promo pics from Fortress as wallpaper on both computers I use at work, and one of my coworkers actually said, "isn't that Creed?" when they saw one. (I like Creed, so no offense!) AND I overhear conversations between coworkers that I choose not to get involved in, but inside, I'm like "Alter Bridge! Myles!" The most recent: "who's the nicest guy in rock?" Sigh. But they are into more classic or radio or poppier stuff, so I know if I would have said Myles, they would have said, "who?"

Also, I love Myles' part in Rock Star...Mark's guitar faces...and yes, MK solo album. Please. And the community feel, like we're part of their success...they aren't some far away, untouchable, larger than life "rock stars" who couldn't care less about their fans. Love that.

I'm actually pretty pumped to look through the What Culture site, looks like a lot of fun articles about music. Never heard of it until now.

Does anyone think there was anything that list missed? I think when I clicked on it, I was expecting more lighter, funnier, inside joke type of things.

Not really... Some things were really spot on haha! Like "We’d All Like Some Jazz" and "We Know The Exact Timestamps For Myles’ High-Note Vocal Solos"! Typical AB nation inside jokes imo!

First half of the article is written decent (besides naming the band 'alter'. Second half is poor quality and more written as a fan girl than as an objective writer.

I'm very happy to see one page dedicated to Flip. He's such an underrated musician. I like how they mentioned that his drumming skills were more prominent on the Fortress album, with his triple kick rolls in The Uninvited. The drums to that song are still my favorite drum track of any AB song.
