Anybody else ever noticed this super loud snare hit in Brand New Start at 4:19 before? Something might have gone a bit wrong with the compression I guess as the rest of the snare hits is quite subdued.
Maybe an edit doubled up on it?
That's a good shout. But it's strange they never noticed it while listening back to it as the snare volume meter probably displayed clipping.

I can 100% believe this stuff goes unnoticed. Gone are the days of having a year to make an album and to produce it to perfection with unlimited budget. Add to that, there are a few fairly obvious incidences of clipping on the BB album.

When I record my own stuff I listen back to it a billion times until I'm completely sure everything is right. It's weird that people that get paid to do this kind of stuff would let it slide.

I've heard that, but I always thought that Flip was just adding in a couple extra hits here and there during that outro.

Ghosts? I think it sounds like an alternate end to Wonderful Life. But that’s just me.

Yeah look

@gush050 Yes, Ghost Of Days Gone By originally had a different intro which you can hear the very end of in this video at 2:03. The intro was edited out during mixing so that version does not exist anymore.

Just listened through headphones - I hear how it can be Ghosts now. Would be kind of cool to see an album put out of songs with different recordings they made of it, hear what other options they were considering.

Well, Myles made a guest appearance of Mammoth WVH's show in Spokane. Per Setlist.fm, they did a cover of Them Bones.

Sounds sick, my favorite AiC tune. Kinda wish Myles vocals were a bit higher in the sound. I was hoping to hear Myles maybe improv a solo on this one but Wolfie totally nailed it!

Huh. Wasn't the date on the Pawns & Kings bridge January 2, 2004?
In that case Happy Anniversary to the guys!
God. It's mad to think I've been listening to this band for nearly 20 years. I guess band formed in Jan, ODR released in August and then I think I must have heard ODR in that first September at high school when a friend of mine studying music tech ripped off The End is Here for his coursework

I didn’t start listening until 2009 but still been a long time, coming up on 15 years.
Joined the forum around the time they were announcing the first Creed reunion. Fun times.

Wow. This band is now 20 years old. I've been a fan for 17 of those years. For the most part in high school, they were basically the only thing that has help me be upbeat about life and through adulthood moving forward. Let's hope they keep the ride going just a little longer. Mark's hopeful of that.
