^ I would get bursts of excitement every once and while the past couple years knowing their new album would be out in 2016. Now that it's getting closer and closer I don't know how I'll be able to stand the anticipation!

I absolutely love that the band is so cool in letting us see shots of recording. However, it almost makes it harder to wait for the album because we will know they are finished recording in April but it will be MONTHS until the album is released

Can't wait!

If it helps, they'll only finish recording their parts by April... the actual production and composing and arranging and creating will take a while longer. Especially if the band aren't there with Elvis

More like mid May seems more reasonable. Still a lot to be recorded. Then mixing will take a week or more.

They're doing about a song or two per day. If they finish that by April ~8th, vocals take 7-10 days. Then the rest take about a week.

So I think April 25h-30th is a fairly reasonable estimate

I wonder where these guitars will come in on the album. They're going to surprise us and do jazz/metal album. I'm just imagining some jazz riffs with Mark's horse galloping and pinch harmonics.

The caption that Elvis put with the Jazz guitars was that they were "laying some wild overdubs" so I take that as they have a lot of delay or reverb with some tremolo picking for sort of a shoegaze sounding thing. That would be SICK if they included some shoegaze elements on this album, even if it's just for one song.
