According to the Napalm press-release that Roel posted in the tour thread, it's October - maybe right at the boundary like the last album and different release days in different countries?

Release dates in the US have shifted to Friday to align with everyone else so there's no more two release dates.

Yeah but with two different labels they could theoretically come out on two different Fridays lol

^^ Probably. Then the week before the album is officially out somewhere, the album will probably get leaked, people will hear it, talk about it here (even though the album hadn't been officially released yet), mods will try to inform people to not discuss it yet (rightfully so), and everyone will have a nice yelling war. Fun for the whole family.

Best way to remedy that is to obviously stream the album. Fortress getting streamed on Loudwire seemed to be an all right move and doesn't look it hurt 1st week sales (sold 30k compared to AB III selling 29k).

IIRC, when Fortress came out, the mods had already heard it and were subtly slipping references and lyrics in there.

Ya I specifically remember the mods hearing it Wednesday before the Monday that it came out and slipping "blood machines" left and right and there was a big haboob about it

i attended a pre-release listening party in london.. wrote down notes and posted the notes in a topic with a clear title.. so not much subtly slipping references...
