Honestly, I liked the sound of the slowed down version of the intro better than the original. It's just so eerie! If I could find a way to add that to the beginning of Show Me A Leader, I definitely would.

So, just pre-ordered the Japanese version of The Last Hero. No further specifics or titles mentioned, but apparently a release with two (!) Japan-only bonus tracks...............exciting !

That's strange. I looked it up and saw what you mean, this website says that as well:

But the thing is, The only confirmed 'Bonus Track' was Last Of Our Kind, and it really isn't even a bonus if you have it on iTunes, so what would Japan do for bonus tracks as an incentive to buy it there? Live performance audio of previous songs? Bonus Tracks from previous albums added in just in case you didn't own them already?

Indeed strange and probably indeed something live or from the past. Did not hear they recorded more songs this cycle, or that would be the best kept secret to date. Too bad that website did not mention specifics. On Fortress they offered the old ABIII bonustracks, so wondering what they will include now. It will be a different version anyway, so an AB-freak like me ordered it anyway. Curious what it will turn out to be.................

The other bonus track could very well be Never Say Die, since that was only a Best Buy exclusive when Fortress came out and as stated, the other ABIII bonus tracks was released for Fortress in Japan so a similar pattern could follow.

Don't think Best-buy would appreciate to have their exclusive downgraded, unless they got compensated or someting like that !?

Just meant that exclusive should be and stay exclusive. New exciting addition to this topic however is we have got a 15 or 16 track version coming up !

I get that part, but quite frankly, who still is going to buy Fortress at Best Buy in 2016 when The Last Hero is coming out? If people want to buy Fortress with Never Say Die on it, they would have found a way to do so by now (like getting friends to buy it for them at Best Buy back in 2013 and shipping it out).

Agree with that. Two extra tracks announced. So probably without any specifics from Japanese sellers we will have ourselves surprised early october................ Could turn out to be a terrific surprise or disappointment, but it will surely add to the pre-release excitement and as already mentioned, I'll buy a different physical copy anyway, just as ghe Emp/large-boxset. This will turn out to be quite an expensive release for me............perhaps an even more expensive end of the year if projected and MK will release their cd's. Perhaps even some Tremonti-live-issue coming up ?! Exciting times.

They recorded 14 songs.. So it's either an old song or some kind of live version.
