Which Alterbridge albums do you consider almost perfect and which albums you just did not get into.

I have heard all the Alterbridge albums and each has strengths and weakeness.The last hero album is one of my favourites.It does cover old ground sometimes lyrically with songs like the writting on the wall, think but it still moves me deeply.It could have been a Slash featuring Myles Kennedy album to be honest.But I like those albums too Myles Kennedy did with Slash.

Best: Blackbird

Worst: The Last Hero/One Day Remains

One Day Remains is just where they didn't have their 'style' yet. The Last Hero is basically the same thing as 2 previous efforts, just watered down and weaker.

Worst : TLH

Mmm.Quite a few guys on here are not fans of the last hero album.I will admit they did cover old ground with some of the songs.But Crows on a wire,writting on the wall,Cradle to the Grave,Poison in the vein are stand out songs on that album.

I'm torn between ODR and Blackbird for best album, though I tend to lean toward ODR because it's just such a banger from start to finish. Weakest album is definitely TLH for me.

I like Blackbird the most. The Last Hero is the most flawed, and therefore easily my least favorite AB album, though it still has some great songs.

I may be the only one but ODR is definitely the weakest for me. Fortress and The Last Hero are my favorite . Their style now is the one I like the best..

I really like all the albums, and don't dislike so it almost seems cruel to put one last. If I had to pick then this:

Worst: One Day Remains
Best: Fortress

I based this on the number, for me anyway, of stand out songs on each album

Blackbird is really really good, but I love Fortress. It's the album that got me into the band, and there are so many outstanding songs on it.

My favorite is Fortress. "Love at first sight" and it's the most consistent album for me.
Least favorite is ODR. But it is a very nice start.

This is obviously subjective but the best for me will always be ODR. I think it's highly underrated by new fans too. Myles' voice, the melodies, the lyrics, the drum sounds, massive guitars, crystal clear clean intros, and the list goes on. Worst probably goes to AB III. The lyrical content got old to me after so many songs about being faithless and all of that, I couldn't connect much. I thought the production wasn't the greatest either.

My favorite is ABIII, I simply love the mood the album creates. Least favorite is The Last Hero for me. Many songs are just super bland.

Picking a favorite is tough because there's a ton I like about Fortress, but Blackbird probably wins out for the emotion/nostalgia that comes with it. I'd give the edge to Blackbird as my favorite and the least favorite is probably The Last Hero. Just has too many weaker tracks in comparison to their other albums.

Fortress and Blackbird are 1 and 1A, it really is like picking a child. Least favorite would probably have to be The Last Hero, but there are still some great songs on it. My Champion (yes, you read that right) is in my top 5 AB songs period, but overall there are more weak songs than any other album

I liked TLH a lot. Very good songs on it, we can talk about how it was mixed by Elvis, but tracks like "Island Of Fools", "TLH", "Cradle To The Grave", "TSOF" give me the chills every time.

Good to hear your giving some love to AB111 and Fortress.Two albums that can get lost and overlooked due to the love giving to Blackbird and One Day remains which are good albums too.AB111 has some great songs on there like Slip to the void,Isolation,I know it hurts.

Fortress has real greats like Peace is broken,the uninvited,Addicted to Pain.

Plenty of love to go around.

I don't consider ODR fully Alter Bridge, I prefer to see it as Mark Tremonti feat. Myles Kennedy and ex-Creed members (and that's totally OK, I love that album). For me, band went full Alter Bridge when Myles and Tremonti became writing music together.

I'd say that Fortress is their best effort up to date - most consistent, just several fillers, easy to listen while still being heavy, interesting mix of a different genres.

I absolutely, wholeheartedly hate The Last Hero - it doesn't really matter that it's a half-assed record that brings nothing new to the table and terribly produced - I just couldn't feel any passion behind it. I listened to it couple of times and could do it anymore.

My favorite is hands down Fortress. I hate to name a least favorite. But it's probably TLH.
