Yep. Here we go. I’m aiming to see the last four shows of the tour. The planning may be tough though. San Fran to LA and then north? Was hoping for LA first and then they move north.

New leg, new topic!

Glad to see some dates for our West Coast members. Good point Anguyen, SF–LA–Seattle would be kind of a rough itinerary.

Likely will be at the Seattle show against my better judgement. But I've missed AB the last 2 West Coast Tours and really don't want to miss a third but it would be a rough morning the next day.

I woke up to the news (as well as an unsuspected snowfall) this morning. First thing I did was share the FB post on the Ao12 Denver FB page, and the second thing I did was sign up to get Feb17 and 18 off work.

If anyone traveling here needs a place to crash, hit me up.

Here's the poster by the way. It's a cool looking poster. It kinda irks me that it looks as if Myles is left-handed. On a side note, Clint Lowery of Sevendust will main support so that's pretty cool to see him solo after seeing Sevendust at the Wiltern last September. Deepfall will open. No idea who they are.

As a lefty guitarist myself, I can say Myles looks good as a southpaw on the poster.

All right, here's how I have my week planned out so far if I do the crazy thing and see the last four shows of the tour. I think I may need a bigger budget than the $1,000.00 I set for the east coast trip. $1,500.00 will be fine. I probably set my budget to $3,000.00 if I see them in Europe. I can safely say that plenty more stories will be have in long incoherent posts.

Saturday, 02/22 get to San Francisco in the morning and do something there. I don't know what, just something.
Sunday, 02/23: AB show.
Monday, 02/24: Getting back to SoCal early and line-up for AB show at the Wiltern (I think I can get away with getting in line a little later than I did for the Skillet show and the show in Raleigh, since tickets for pit is separate from GA and a little more expensive and I'm getting pit tickets).
Tuesday, 02/25: Fly to Seattle in the morning and do something there.
Wednesday 02/26: AB show in Seattle
Thursday 02/27: Fly to Spokane for the AB show on the same day.
Friday 02/28: Do something in Spokane and probably take a drive to Couer D'Alene and do something there.
Saturday: Coming Home........

I envy you so much. I'm just hoping to be able to make the Seattle show since I'll be in the middle of practicum at that time...

Ok, I'm taking a listen to Deepfall. Yeah....., this opener isn't going to be for me. Looks like they are also playing in LA opening for Hellyeah and Nonpoint in December and I don't really care for those bands much so I think it's a big hurdle for me to enjoy Deepfall. Not big on the Pantera-like or Mudvayne style of vocals.

All right, I got the tickets for three shows. LA ($71.00 for GA Pit. Regular GA would have been $48.00), San Francisco ($39.54, first come first serve GA), and Spokane ($43.15 for GA). I couldn't get tickets for the Seattle show since apparently, you need to reside to reside in the Northwestern states (Seattle, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska) to place an online order and need to call in at the general sale day to place an order if you reside elsewhere. So stupid. I'm willing to pay the money, Seattle. Just take it. I'll guess I'll call in on Friday.

Picked up tickets to SF, along with M&G. Waiting on the Lake Tahoe show to get fixed. Those trying to buy tickets, I called them, and they explained what is going on. Apparently the venue didn't send them the seating chart, so they can't sell tickets until they get the chart from the venue. Apparently it's seated. So if you're trying to score presale to Tahoe, it's not just you, it's TM waiting on the venue to deliver the info so they can launch the sale.

I was hoping to do more than two shows on this leg, but curiously, at least out west, they aren't playing Saturdays. So that messed up with the timing. But I am grateful for two shows I can make it to! Wish I could do Spokane again -- last time was just incredible with that special performance of Words Darker Than Their Wings. I absolutely love the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJVazH48fQ4

But I'll take two shows, and cross my fingers they do another smaller run in late 2020, early 2021, before ending the support for Walk the Sky.

I was hoping that they would come back up to the Northeast (mid-atlantic) consider how Myles was sick for Philly, NYC, and Baltimore. I don't really have money or time to travel to see them outside of somewhere in the NJ-NY-PA-Maryland area.

Well, they probably will hit the east coast areas again later in 2020. There's no way the only shows for Walk the Sky in areas like Boston, New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, etc. will be a co-headlining tour before the album was officially out. West Coast, well, up in the air, but can't complain with how many shows I am going to attend in that region in February.

Wow, $71 for GA/pit in LA?? Damn, that's steep for an AB show. It's just $36 here in Denver. Well, good for them (and the promoter) if they can sell out at that price. I hope they do.

You think $71.00 is steep? People probably had to pay more for that at a UK arena show for GA.

Well, regular GA tickets are $48.00 with very little chance of me getting a rail spot in the second section (as evident in the Skillet/Sevendust show I was at in the same venue) due to VIP getting their early access. Honestly, after paying only $53.00 for the ticket/Fastline in Raleigh and essentially stealing a railspot from a VIP meet and Greet since the venue security put us in the same line and I was in front while everyone was going through the meet and greet, I don't feel bad about paying more than what I thought it would be for that section (it was $65.00 for Skillet/Sevendust). Besides, the other shows I'm thinking about going to was around $40-45 which I would think is a more standard price. I can take the hit for now.
