1. Fortress (2013)
2. Blackbird (2007)
3. Walk The Sky (2019)
4. One Day Remains (2004)
5. AB III (2010)
6. The Last Hero (2016)

His comment on ODR (google translate):
I know it's one of our fans' favorite records, but for me it's still a bit of a green job. The guys had been together for some time as I had just arrived, so it served as a bit of a break-in album, even though it contains our biggest hit ('Metalingus'). Obviously I'm fond of this record, but I believe our true identity as a band was born with 'Blackbird'.
Full interview will be out soon.

ABIII on position 5? Kinda funny regarding the fact that this album probably has the most personal lyrics Myles wrote aside from Year Of The Tiger.

It was a bad time for him though, I think.

I'd say his ranking would be a pretty common one on here, though I'm surprised he has Fortress top, I thought they'd all be Blackbird groupies.

I agree with this except I wouldn't even rank ODR with the rest. It's such a different album (half Creed half AB) that I don't feel it's a fair comparison.

And I'd possibly put ABIII above Walk the Sky. It's hard for me to rank Walk the Sky yet because it's still fairly new for me.

Im surprised to see that even he recognizes TLH is the worst one. Wonder what his reasoning is

Check out our community's collective ranking (add to it if you'd like):

Compared to Myles' list, only WTS and ODR are swapped.

Andy, if you add your rankings in, it just might switch to what Myles has too heh.

AngusWolfe = Myles Kennedy.

(Andy - Myles Kennedy at home.)

I remember Mark talking about how stressful production of TLH was. There was not much time to finish up songs implying that some songs are basically unfinished. I guess Myles feels the same about that production process and the end result.

You think he would know better

Since WTS is so high on his list, I do hope one day we'll see AB play Walking on the Sky, Clear Horizon, The Bitter End, Indoctrination and maybe even Tear Us Apart. Baffles me when bands don't perform new songs.

Just did mine. I would probably put One Day Remains higher than it is right now. But Fortress first, The Last Hero second, and AB III last sounds about right.

Yeah, I'm guessing the 5's and 6's you gave some of their track made my algo sit and think on that one for a bit, questioning your otherwise differing stance haha.

Very interesting where you placed Blackbird (the song) and This Side of Fate, however!

Of the Track 8's, I Know It Hurts is amazing. Down To My Last and Waters Rising are pretty cool. The Bitter End is okay. Blackbird is a great song but I just can't listen to it anymore because it brings up sad memories. This Side Of Fate is my least favorite Alter Bridge song ever.

Just fixed my rankings after listening to all the rest of the songs for the first time. One Day Remains is now 3rd. Walk The Sky dropped to 5th.

What songs have you finally heard for the first time?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you posted it in the other thread.

I see a lot of people saying Fortress is their favorite album, which surprises me. I love the album a lot, but I guess I just expected everyone to be on the Blackbird bus.

Quite surprised at ABIII being 5th on his list. I'm curious as to why. It's personally in my top 3.

I have no idea what he was on while choosing Walk the Sky over ABIII but I guess it might have been a rough experience related to the recording/writing of the album.

AB III is filled with average songs. I've never understood its good reviews, especially after an album like Blackbird.

Just for fun, here's my ranking of Myles' albums.
1. One Day Remains (2004)
2. Blackbird (2007)
3. Second Skin (2001)
4. Fortress (2013)
5. Fallout (1998)
---
6. The Last Hero (2016)
7. Walk The Sky (2019)
8. The Ides of March (2021)
9. AB III (2010)
10. Year of the Tiger (2018)

The first 5 albums are all great.
The last 5 range from good to just decent.
