Just curious here. Alter Bridge said that they never really came up with a name for the record, they just went with what the fans were calling it, which was ABIII. If you had the option to name that record, what would you have named it? Personally, I would've named it "Into The Abyss", but that's just me, I want your opinions.

ABIII is cool frankly. It's much less pretentious than most other names people could come up with. Musicians take themselves to seriously most of the time, especially metal bands.

There are so many cool song names on that album that would work as album titles. However I am glad that they chose an album title that wasn't a song name for once.

I suppose they could have gone along with the "Isolation" or "Slip to the Void" theme, without actually using those words. Maybe "desolate", "detached", or something like that.

Truth Alone. It follows the theme of the whole album. It's also what they should've called "Words Darker Than Their Wings."

Yeah I agree Truth Alone would've been a good one. Show Me A Sign and Ghost Of Days Gone By would've made good ones as well. So many good song titles on that record that could've been album names as well.
