Indoctrination is found in the second verse of The River Is Rising by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The lyric is "Indoctrination to the blind".
And yes. Solace is in the first verse of Brand New Start. The lyric is "We leave as one, we've just begun, to find the solace we're due".

Also, solace is used in Coeur D'Alene. The lyric is "I need the solace of her shore".
Wait are we strict about double posting on here? Sorry about that.

haha I've thought about making a list like this before.

they've used the lyric "(the) damage done" and variations of "Tear/torn us apart" but I can't remember who's projects it was on

it's fun being such an avid listener and hearing the Myles-isms and Tremonti-isms when it comes to lyrics, when you listen to the content you can really tell if one or the other was responsible for the lyrics

I've found that some of Mark's, maybe some of Myles' older lyrics talk about seeing someone else in the mirror a lot, Myles' newer lyrics talk about home and being where you need to be or about where you used to want to be

A recurring theme in the Year of the Tiger album I noticed a lot was "pale horse" and death which was basically the whole theme of the album but he must've used the lyric "funeral song" and "pale horse" like 3 songs in a row on that album lol

to be clear, not knocking Myles' lyric writing, just something funny I've noticed :P
