I actually really like The Last Here's artwork.
It's just a different style than what's here.
I wouldn’t mind it if the line at the top of the head looked better. That’s always looked amateurish imo.VigilantSteve wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 10:24 amI actually really like The Last Here's artwork.

Damn, the guy who posted on reddit seems to be pretty reliable with leaks which is why I posted here mb.joshuabeau wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:00 pm He said it’s not releasing on the 19th and that’s not the cover art.
I'm really looking forward to see what chess metaphors Myles and Mark came up with for the album
That's a relief. I hope they go with something different for the album cover.joshuabeau wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:36 pm Apparently the art was made for the US tour that’s about to be announced.
I don’t think we can really compare an album like the stage to an AB album. Both are amazing tho, just differentTimotheus wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 7:40 am Bands like Avenged Sevenfold have released songs like The Stage and Nightmare as lead singles, which aren't prog songs, but to AB's standards relatively complex. Those songs did great and got a great reception, so I think it would be a great move by AB to release one of the best songs initially, no matter how "complex". If there are more commercial songs, those can always be released at a later point.
But maybe this is a One Day Remains situation, and the title track is a 3 minute upbeat song
God if the title track is the opening track of the album and an epic as well. That would be amazing and quite refreshing
Me too. Completely hyped.WaywardOne wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 9:39 pm All I know is the few things Tim has said have me feeling VERY good about this one. So freaking stoked.
Yes, but the radio edit that originally came out for that song didn't have the whole intro guitar solo lol. It was cut out.AB4Lyfe wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 8:35 pm They’ve never released an “epic” as a first single - been a short 4-minute banger with a predictable structure more times than not. A proggy, epic track would be a great change of pace. And a very nice way to say “we’re taking a different approach to this record.”
I think Show Me a Leader was actually a step in the right direction. Not my favorite song, but having a lead single open with a 30-second guitar solo was refreshing.
