I really enjoy the song. More so than Silver Tongue.

Just listened. I dug it. I need multiple listens to really form an opinion most of the time, but so far I've dug each song on the first listen and each has really grown on me with repeat listens. This definitely didn't feel unexpected or whatever that comment on the P&K youtube video from the band account was saying about the next release, but it was a nice change of pace from the first 2 releases.

My 11-year-old also dug it. Kept telling me how much he wanted to see them on tour for the new record. He doesn't know I've already got tickets for us to go see them in Seattle. Can't wait! Just over 6 months to go!

There is a lot to digest in this one but it's pretty good. It feels too slow tbh. It's also not very often that they include some high register notes in the main riff.

The groove feels very Alice In Chains. Very, very cool sound. Myles dipping into his lower register along with Mark’s backing vocals. Such a big step up from Walk The Sky imo. I’m very impressed so far.

Also, I’m not sure how many of you use Apple Music, but they just added some animation for the album page. Chess pieces falling and some other visuals. It caught me off guard this morning when I went to play Silver Tongue.

Just listened to the preview. Unless this is some weird tuning, they've been in Drop C# for all the singles so far.

Also, in a new interview, Myles says that Season Of Promise is a lot like the One Day Remains era. So my wish was granted!

Initial impressions: dug the song, really did. Mark adding in backing vocals makes such a big difference compared to Myles' vocal layering. Mark's voice adds a certain warmth to the tone whenever he comes in.

Small note: feel like they're saving the best solos for the full release... P&K and SAS both have solos in them, but short and concise. Waiting for the big 45-60 second solo somewhere.

This song is a nice step up from the rest.
Takes you on a journey, not many repetitions, every member is shining on its own and not buried between layers. Especially the lower register of Myles singing does it for me.

Yes please. I get you're excited for a new song, but if everyone did this for every song they heard the first time, every thread would be thousands of pages long and unreadable. If you really can't contain your excitement, feel free to post and then edit with addendums.
