Got my tix for Seattle. Bringing my 11-year-old son. It'll be his second concert. He just went to his first one ever (Silk Sonic) last week.

Hoping to also get the soundcheck package for both of us. Going to be surprising him with all of this at Christmas. He's going to flip.

You know what's sad? I can't even tell you the last time I went to an AB show. I want to, but since joining the ranks of Family Man nearly 7 years ago, I really haven't been out to shows. I'm kind of glad to see the Twin Cities show is at Mystic Lake Casino, as there would probably be some balcony seating there for us old people, but I don't know if I could really take a 5 year old.

Any idea what the pricing is like for GA tickets? I think everything is still on pre-sale and ticket prices look crazy high for that (I know that just comes with the territory these days, I just miss the classic $15 "show up early and hang around by the busses and chat with the band" gigs from the Before times).

Looks like the Minnesota show is all seats. No GA and the better seats are going for $70.00. Signs of the times, I guess.

Non-Pit GA ticket for the Anaheim show was $55.00 which is steeper than the $48.00 at the Wiltern back in 2020. However, factoring the pandemic, inflation, and that the HOB does not have an exclusive GA Pit section or seated sections that Live Nation can charge more of a premium, $55.00 seems all right in comparison. The venue is also including a $35.00 fast lane option as well, but I'm considering getting the VIP upgrade from the band themselves which includes early entry (which should take precedence before Fast Lane people, but the show in Raleigh in 2019 really didn't enforce it, which is to my benefit in a dirty way).

My ticket for front center was $73.00 through Ticketmaster for the show in Minnesota.

Seems in line with the market. I paid $71.00 for a GA Pit ticket back in 2020 at the Wiltern.

Just got floor tickets for Chesterfield! Can’t wait. Haven’t seen them since they were in Spokane before COVID hit.

I know times have changed since like 8 years ago, but good lord. Not blaming the band/management, it's just what the climate calls for, but damn.

I paid $235 for 2 15th row seats for the Seattle show. Was more than I figured, but was still happy to pay it. I'm also coming from a place where I spent $1300 on 4 tix to a show in Vegas, so $235 for 2 tix feels like a bargain.

It sucks seeing people priced out of going to shows. But I feel like most of that is the ticket platform rather than the acts themselves.

This surge pricing on tickets is total BS. The venue sets the prices. The platform should have to leave them as is. It's bad enough we have to pay all the extra BS fees for using the platform to begin with.

I was going to go to the Nashville show but they had no GA tickets and all the seated tickets weren’t worth the price. So, settled for floor tickets in Chesterfield for only $45.

I shudder to think what the prices for the Highland show is going to be. It's going to be at a theater in a casino and I know casino shows, in general, isn't exactly what you call cheap. I feel like I paid fair value for the GA tickets I got given all the circumstances. Going to be spending hundreds more in flight/hotel for a weekend trip to Toronto anyway.

Edit: Well, this is interesting. the GA ticket for the Highland, CA show is only $40.00. There has to be a catch to this, but I guess I find out when the day of the show.

Hey y'all... first time commenter, long time lurker.. Super excited to see the tour opener in Tampa.. Roll on Jan. 25th.

I bought two tickets during the pre-sale via the "official platinum" offer on Ticketmaster.. would have thought something like that includes some sort of cool stuff-but apparently not. Oh well

Ouch. I'm sorry to inform you this, but when you buy tickets off Ticketmaster under "Official Platinum," that just means that Ticketmaster is setting certain tickets (like lodge seats or GA Pit) at a price that Secondary Markets would set the price to. It does not include any additional benefits at all. Avoid buying those kinds of tickets if you can.

All good. I’m fortunate enough to be able to feel OK about the purchase. I knew that they didn’t come with anything special (only the band-provided VIP experience). These were the closest tickets with seats, as the venue has standing GA.

But this will be my second time seeing the guys, and can’t wait. I’m bringing along my dad (hence wanting seats), who has no real background knowledge about AB (besides that I’m a huge fan, and the whole creed background); we like the same type of music.

Should be a good show! 🤘🏼

I don't think so this time around. Don't know how my work schedule is going to look like, by then, and if there are people that can cover for me by then. I figured I use one weekend trip for a show, per US tour, outside of California and this time around, it looks like it's going to be Toronto.

I may go crazy, though, and may be scheming of going to the AB show in Kansas City, take a bus to St. Louis and go watch a Blues game against the Golden Knights (and root against the Golden Knights) the next day, but that's not a lock.

Edit: Huh, looking at the possible ways to get from Kansas City to St. Louis on 03/12. This is how stupid things look. On Expedia, there are no direct flights from Kansas City to St. Louis, surprisingly. The cheapest flight would cost $300.00 and there would be a 40 minute layover in Dallas. Would take 4 hours of a trip, plus the possibly two hours to wait in line to clear TSA.

The bus ride directly from Kansas City to St. Louis would take 4 hours and cost $50.00. So it would be better to go by bus rather than plane.

Not sure if this is the right thread to post in, but Alter Bridge is playing Welcome To Rockville on May 20, 2023. Could they possibly be playing the other DWP festivals as well?

Nice promo for the tour. This is a funny thing knowing that 3/5ths of that group is/were in bands that Mark and Myles is a part of.

I'm still contemplating going to Kansas City to see their show there. I've looked at Airbnb prices and things look promising.

I do want to go to St. Louis the day after to watch a hockey game as well. Don't know if I want to take a Greyhound bus to get from Kansas City to St. Louis.
