I'm excited that they're starting soon, but I just worry that it's being rushed. I hope everything has its space and room to breathe, is all.

Lol called it! I think the plan is to cover all drums and Bass b4 Myles goes out with Slash in May. Then come back and cover vocals and guitars.

But its amazing because they have until September to finish this and they are pretty much half way done. By the end of June they should be done with everything

From Brian - "Alter Bridge Pre-Production and writing is 95% done. We will begin tracking drums starting on April 26th. So excited! Epic!"

yeah unfortunate for us. But in AB's defense they are more popular in Europe, I don't think they could even have a market for a headlining Arena tour in the states

At this stage and at this environment, I can only see AB do arenas in two scenarios and they are not going to be the headliner in either of those. I could only see AB play support for either Van Halen or Shinedown. Maybe Daughtry (can they still headline arenas alone?)

I've seen Daughtry twice. The arena show was with 3 Doors Down, and when they were by themselves it was a smaller venue.

AB couldn't do a headlining arena run in the US without bigger support.

unfortunate though, we live in a country where only Radio makes you popular... at least in Europe bands (AB) become idols by always going there and building fan support, thats how it should be done everywhere

The only reason ABIII was delayed in the U.S. was because their contract with EMI was still be finalized. I expect the new record to come out at the same through out the world.

Well, at least, another good aspect, in this next album cycle, is that for the 1st time ever in this band's lifespan that the album is going to be released by the same record labels (right?).

I hope they stew on what they have for a while and Change little things, to make it more grand. And Mark writes up crazy solos!

They've released ABIII and Blackbird both in October, 3 years apart.. It would be about right for an Oct/Nov release.. Just in time with the tour, which would be a rush of Alter Bridge for the end of the year, which we all need. Big time
