The Tabernacle ( Atlanta - April 19th, 2014 )

Post by TylerDurden »

126 days.. 7 hours and 45 minutes.. ..roughly..

I can't stand this wait! Got to see Soundgarden both nights last year at the Tabby.. Didn't think I could get as pumped for another show a this venue. I was wrong.. This will be my 4th AB show - first at my favorite place! It's gonna be a long winter...

Capacity: 2600 - Originally a Baptist Church - once a House of Blues - sustain tornado damage in 2008..

Looking forward to it. 8+ hour trip from northeast TN/Southwest VA. That's 8 hours one way...
never seen AB but ive seen Creed twice at Aaron's Amphitheater at Lakewood and Tremonti in Nashville so thisll just be another nice long concert trip for me. Anyone wanna join me and my bestfriend and his fiance for 4/20 at Six Flags in College Park.. not far from the venue. Its a good Six Flags too.

I'll be there, and damned if I'm not on that railing. Anyone else get the fast pass?

I guess you'll reckognize me. And I got that fast lane thing too. Also a friend of me from London will be there. So I'm sure one will pick up her accent. And of course on my ugly accent as well!

I think they only sell a certain amount of fast pass tickets. At least that's how it works at a few venues by me.

114 Days.. 7 Hours.. 38 Minutes.. ...roughly.

- at least I'll have "Fortress: The Sound & The Story" to help get me through. As far as fast pass - the best sound to me is 3/4 of the way back towards the soundboard - but def not under balconies.. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I'm aiming for first balcony center.

When it comes to concerts I actually prefer the balcony because I can see everything at once and sound isn't right in your face but this is Alter Bridge. I've never seen them before and I want my first time to be special (wow, that sounded weird)

But I would love to meet you guys and rock out together!! Hmm so to those who got "fast line" or plan on being close to the stage where would you prefer to be?

In Front of Mark
In Front of Myles
Center Stage and get a little bit of everything?

I'm leaning towards Mark but I know he has a reputation of blasting his rig and I want to be able to hear Myles

When I got close to the front seeing them, I stood left-center between Myles and Brian. This was when Myles was in the center, but I still think that's a pretty good area. Mark's rig is pretty loud lol. But it really doesn't matter. Pick wherever you'd like the most.

Hmm I guess it depends where Myles is. Not sure if he will stay where he is or move back to center stage
