Oh no, don't tell me that people left after AB's set was done.

AB was awesome. Amazing set.
The whole thing was somewhat of a botched event. They decided to move the entire thing INSIDE to a 1300+/- capacity room. They cited weather, but I think it was sadly due to low sales.
Mark was walking about before the doors opened. We got a pic with him. Flip was hanging out after Staind at the entrance. Got a pic with him too. Still no Myles, Scott said him and his wife went out to eat.
The Buzz guys got us into the Staind m/g which was nice. Super-nice dudes.
We got back into the venue while Egypt Central (or whatever they're called now) was playing upstairs, so we got pretty close to the rail on the left. Opened with Addicted, closed with Isolation. Memorable tunes were Cry of Achilles, Metalingus, Ghosts, Buried Alive. I recorded parts of each song so I can piece together the setlist if someone else doesn't post it here or setlist.fm.
Amazing to see AB again. Just a shame the sales were lower than expected (though the indoor stage was PACKED for AB) and the venue is the worst in town.
They're going from a 1,300 seat dump last night to 50,000+ in Ohio tonight. Quite a contrast.

1300? Really? They can do that by themselves with the proper promotion and organization and if they were the headliners.

Not here in twang-town, apparently. Almost zero airplay since "Open Your Eyes" other than a quick run of "Isolation". Very conservative, safe radio here. Most 'rock fans' here probably have never heard of AB.
We were talking with a guy from England before the show. He's a journalist/blogger, visiting the states and travelling from Nashville to Rock on the Range then to Rocklahoma. He was stunned that AB was on before Staind. Welcome to 'Merica.

I hosed that previous post up. Still groggy. I'm going through my camera now. Please disregard hangover post from above.
ok, here it is:
addicted to pain
white knuckes
come to life
closer than the sun
brand new start
cry of achilles
ghosts
ties that bind
waters rising
metallingus
blackbird
watch over you
rise today
isolation
No buried alive. sorry.

was fun but the venue sucked! They were so unorganized. Thought AB was good, but didnt seem like they were terribly into it. Just being pros.

Venue did suck but I thought that they were pretty good. Didn't see anything out of the blue. Myles was having a blast and I don't think mark could hear that well
Re: Nashville 5/17/2014
I guess ive seen plenty of shows of theirs and just didnt feel it. Maybe it was the crowd. Miss the good old days when i went to shows at The Roxy or House of Blues and everyone was singing at the top of their lungs. Love the music.
Re: Nashville 5/17/2014
Pretty sure Staind is a more popular band in the states lol. I'd expect them to headline over AB personally.
