I wonder if this is the 1st Europe show, ever, excluding the festivals, where AB are the opening band?

yep-will be a bit weird to not be going home at the end of an AB concert for me--not done any festivals yet ...am going with an Aerosmith fan--I am not really a fan of Aerosmith but will hang around--have heard good things about them live--will probably have a few beers and be buzzing after seeing the AB boys...

Ok.

In Milan.

Just found out that I am going to a mini festival.

Which started this afternoon.

Duff McKaggan is on now.

Missing him as on the way.

Then Extreme

Then AB

Then Aerosmith.

Milan Rho is not Milan. At least 30 mins outside. Stuck in traffic. 40 mins in cab so far not close.

As long as I make AB all will be good

Have a good time! Sucks that you're missing Walking Papers, they're awesome, but I guess AB and Aerosmith make up for that ;)

its not.. AB has opened before, in 2006 in Augsburg (Germany) for Alice Cooper.

And you can't call this one in Italy "opening for" as there are like 5 or 6 bands on tap, its not a "normal" concert.

Another group photo (sans Flip though) with another band, Walking Papers.

Walking Papers meets Alter Bridge in Milan, Italy! Miles Kennedy is from Spokane, Washington! He and I talked about our love of jazz and soul music! Alter Bridge are super cool dudes who totally rock and we love them! -Barrett
That's probably the 3rd band photo they have taken this whole Fortress tour (after the ones with Alice in Chains and Living Colour) and that's not even involving all the other photos of the vast amount of good musicians they encountered during this Fortress run.
