The Official DISTURBED Thread
The Official DISTURBED Thread
Looks like Disturbed is back. I didn't see a thread.. so here ya go!
http://www.disturbed1.com/countdown
^Most likely a countdown to a new album announcement. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan but I dig some of their stuff.. mainly from the Believe album. Prayer & Remember are amazing tunes.

Nice. They've been pretty hit and miss with me, but I'd be open to giving them another shot.

I just love Draiman's vocals and his raspyness that they have. His lows and cleans are incredible as well. Dan Donegan is the other reason I love this band so much. His riffs and solos are always so tasty (ear candy basically). I think Dan and Draiman go together as well as Myles and Mark. 2nd best rock duo. The rhythm section is pretty tight, too, and I love how in their production the bass is turned up pretty high/mixed well.

It's alright. Not a big fan of The Sickness-era Disturbed, TBH. TTF is where their catalog gets more into my taste. ANYWHO;Timotheus wrote:I like Stupify.
There's a countdown clock on their website with 13 hours left until they announce something. And The Guy has officially awakened!

Well, they basically released that album 3 times, so it's understandable that you're happy about that.SHEAKENBAKEN wrote:TTF is where their catalog gets more into my taste. ANYWHO;

I dig it. Pretty standard Disturbed, but it's nice to have them back.

Pretty run of the mill Disturbed. The video is 1000 times better than the song imo. lol

Absolutely love the chorus to that song. David's voice has always been one of my favorites, not necessarily in terms of pure talent but the sound of his voice.
Re: The Official DISTURBED Thread
Love Disturbed, new song is pretty catchy. Glad these guys are back, and according to the Q&A with their drummer on their Facebook, they're back for good and only focusing on Disturbed from now on.
Thanks Andy!

Re: The Official DISTURBED Thread
"Fire It Up" was just hard to listen to. No meaningful lyrics at all and just sounded meh. Compared to the last two songs released for the new album, "Fire It Up" is crap honestly imo.

I like the instrumentation, the vocals, and the melody, not a fan of the lyrics, personally.
But does anyone remember the fact that Asylum had a very tongue and cheek song about becoming a werewolf ("The Animal")? This could be their "Silly Song" on the album. Doesn't mean the whole album is bad.
Oh and there's this comment he made in an interview
"There was a big fat bowl before that one. 95 percent of the songs I've written in my life, I've written them while high. That's the god's honest truth.

Re: The Official DISTURBED Thread
Even so "The Animal" is way better than "Fire It Up". But to each their own of course.
