Haha no, it's just a show I started watching because of her. We're watching Game of Thrones together now because that's something I really like.

Thanks Andy!
Would there even be a Demand?
Is that a live stream or On Demand?

Just Bobby being creepy. I'm such a proud creepy uncle right now.

But how can it be creepy when I was Invited?
Neither. It’s a live event. Timo invited me over for some beer and it turned into me third wheeling, basically being their butler all nightgbruin wrote:Is that a live stream or On Demand?

Re: What are you watching right now?
Maybe our Bobby is really Bobby B, our one true king of Westeros.

I don't understand that reference...Andy92 wrote:Maybe our Bobby is really Bobby B, our one true king of Westeros.
but I'm currently watching Ray Donovan and have never been more addicted to a show in my life.
Also, Timo and his girlfriend need to stop watching game of thrones so late at night, i need my sleep.
Thanks Andy!

Damn, our cable/internet went out while I was out of town on Monday and we didn't record the latest Better Call Saul. I presume AMC airs the new episodes here and there, but now I gotta track it down!

A friend lured me in to watching The Man In The High Castle on Amazon. It's based (loosely) on a Phillip K Dick novel in which the Axis won WW2. I was a big reach in the first place to forget history and willingly go along with the story, but the opening sequence is so surprising and shocking and chilling that it was easy to get sucked in, then the characters are pretty interesting and that keeps things rolling. The first two seasons are available with Amazon Prime and I binged them in about 5 days, and season 3 comes out on Oct 5.

Re: What are you watching right now?
Do it. It's only like 20 episodes or so, and then I watched the 3 minute interviews with the director to explain each of the S2 episodes, which actually helped a bit, so it's pretty easy to catch up.
I bought the book and just started it a couple nights ago. I'm really not a SciFi reader, but it will be interesting to see how they relate. I believe the current TV episodes are now far past the narrative of the book.

One more thing to binge on regarding Owl City.
Owl City's Live in Los Angeles DVD. This is a great representation of Owl City's live set that includes a lot of good stuff before Owl City released The Midsummer Station album.

THAT'S what the sugar bowl was for!
The final season (3) of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events came out on Netflix on Jan 1 and I just finished bingeing it a couple days ago. It was brilliant and I am so totally depressed that it is done. It was wickedly funny and clever and captivating from start to finish. Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf was incredible. The writing was incredible. Lucy Punch as Esme Squalor is smoking hot and incredible. The twists and turns of the narrative are incredible. Patrick Warburton's deadpan interjections as the narrator (Lemony) are incredible. The way the books are brought to life for the screen is incredible.
Everything about this series was fantastic. NPH deserves an Emmy for his performance.
When I finished the final episode, I just went back to S1 E1 and started again.
