Interesting. Any bets on what comes next?

We’ve already gotten an “epic”, a radio single…to spice things up, my money is on the Mark-lead song “Stay”

Synth-heavy black metal with a mumble rap breakdown?

Intrigued! The fact that I'm still very excited after two songs, means the two songs have done their job!

Which is not that important for us die-hards, but it might be a disadvantage with new listeners. Anyway, it's definitely not a bad video, just not something I'll watch again probably.
Not even just to see the girl falling?
There's the whole worldwide internet for that kind of thing young man! :humina
Googles "falling people funny".

The most interesting part of this to me is the "what comes next will catch everyone off guard" remark. AB has a pretty dialed-in sound. I think it would be pretty hard to catch us die-hard fans off guard, unless it's something really different than what we've heard from them before.

That comment is a really interesting insight into their thought process.

"Catch everyone off guard" - ok, I'm intrigued. But this means we either get the Mark lead as a single, or Fable... I really hope it isn't Fable, I want that 9 minutes of epicness to smack me with the rest of the record.

Not gonna lie, Alter Bridge is one of the best bands out there in terms of online interaction with fans. I wonder who wrote this comment. Doesn't sound like Tim...probably not Myles as he says he doesn't like to respond to comments...my money is on either Mark or Michael.

I wonder if sometimes the band members visit this board. Or is it just Tim?

Most likely they have a marketing lead or a social media manager that would handle that kind of comment.

Is it? Never noticed that to be honest, except for Tim coming on here from time to time (who is not even part a of the band lol).

Honestly, that comment reads more like something that can come from Tim when it comes to the reality and nuisances of promoting music in this age.

I bet it’s Tim.

Also, bet it is either Stay or Fable.

I'm taking that YouTube comment with a grain of salt. I feel like we’re always told “this album is going to blow you out of the water” with each release. As a marketer, it strikes me as a generic marketing tagline.

I always assumed Michael ran their social media. Do they still retweet/repost any time someone quotes an AB song? I stopped following them because of that :lol

(Still a big fan of the band and music in spite of any negative connotations I just put out)

Their Facebook has a lot of shared posts of people talking about them, quoting their songs, sharing stories of memories related to the band, etc.

Yeah that’s not interaction then, that’s spam 😂
Interaction would be replying to comments or starting and engaging in conversation. It got to the point a few years ago where every other post on my feed was just the AB account sharing someone’s post of how they like certain lyrics. I had to unfollow them.

You can just go to their Twitter page and turn off retweets.
