It's so fun! I played it through before it became multi player.

Hmmmm. I could be keen on a TABN party! I've considered Baldur's Gate. It looks like something I would get heavily immersed in though, which can be a problem lol.

I call Kelly that because the emotional intimacy we share is at the level that it would be in a romantic relationship. Since I value emotional connection more than anything physical, she's basically temporarily filling the girlfriend role in my life, albeit without anything physical and with a greater sense of distance than I would want in an actual romantic relationship.

Do you fill the boyfriend role in her life? No, her boyfriend does... Hence, friendzone.

It's not friendzone if neither party wants to be romantically involved.

I want to elaborate on this and say that it is rare that a romantic partner fulfills someone's every need. Both Kelly and I value this type of "compartmentalization" of relationships, where each one serves a specific purpose. I recently found out that Mason is not the type of person that enjoys deep emotional conversations, so now it makes sense why Kelly always turns to me to fulfill that emotional need of hers. Therefore, the concept of "boyfriend role" is a moot point. And yes, that makes the concept of "girlfriend role" moot as well, so I will amend that statement and say that I call her my platonic girlfriend because it is hard to call us "just friends" when we have such a deep emotional connection that neither of us has with any of our other relationships.

I understand, and I'm doing my best to prepare to explain my friendship with Kelly to a potential romantic interest. Also, I'm sure that she and I will become less close once I get a romantic girlfriend, but that's to be expected with all my friendships.

I don't really have good friends, so at school I find myself talking to this girl twice a day for a few minutes each time. We've known each other for a year and a half, and right now, we consider ourselves "just friends". It's good that we have some common interests (music and math...yes, we math nerds are crazy).

But I think that I might like her as more than a friend.

So, the question is:

What the hell do I do?!?

Apparently the answer to this question is "Cry about it for three years".

It's been exactly three years since I admitted to myself that I was in love with Addison. Somehow, even after having four more crushes in the meantime, I'm still not over her.

Ok, so my planning for my next trip is in full swing. I'm going to Cleveland, OH in March to see A7X. Then I'm going to take an Amtrak Train at 1:50 AM after the concert to go to Pittsburgh and maybe see the Penguins play against the Oilers if tickets are reasonable. I'm only staying at an AirBnb for one night and I'm thinking about where would I store my luggage from 2 PM - 12 AM on the Saturday of the concert. Am I able to ask a nearby hotel to store it? Could I store it at an Amtrak station?

Also, the hockey game in Pittsburgh is at 1 PM. I would also need to find a place to store it before the game.
