Lol. The cheesiness is the main barrier preventing me from being a major fan.

Their singer is phenomenal.
Their drummer is excellent.
Their guitarist isn't anything special, but that alone isn't a deal-breaker.

The problem is, I feel like they have so much more songwriting potential. All their songs are either about "I like sex" or "I'm a girl but that doesn't mean I'm innocent." And you're right, some of the melodies sound like a middle school chick-rock band trying to sound hard.

Not that it's awful or anything. I've listened to both albums multiple times. I just think they need more time to develop as songwriters.
