Alter Bridge Tattoos
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
Sorry dude, it feels like I'm pissing on your bonfire but I guess you'd be more disappointed if you there and it had to be washed off haha.
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
Haha yea it's ok. Can't find any pen that would last so many days anyway.
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
you could always get a plain bit of paper signed dude and then your tattoo artist can trace it and tattoo it exactly as the signature, that way you have the autograph AND the tattoo?
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
I already said that! Haha. He said it's not the same though. I can understand that.
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
And I always wondered, when people say, oh I'm gonna get my *insertbodypart* signed and have it tattooed, how can they tattoo over that and wouldn't it get infected or something.
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
damn, I'm trying to get an estimate here lol. I think itll look amazing. Probably the only tat ill ever get
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
Mine was like $200-300, but I got the hook up cause he was a friend of a friend who got tattoos from him.
Photobucket cash grab.
Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
It depends. Depends on where you go, some artists charge more than others..some charge per piece, others per hour. Placement can factor in the price and of course how big.

Re: Alter Bridge Tattoos
Yeah sizing and time are obviously the main factors when pricing a tattoo.. For instance, my tattoo artist charges me £60 an hour ($100).. And i book his TIME when i go into him, so if i can afford it; i may book a 6 hour session for a day and whatever he gets done, he gets done..
My chest tattoo of my sons name, i got done in Melrose, LA.. The guy quoted me on the piece itself, something that probably wouldnt have been the same price if he'd charged me by time. If they charge you by the piece itself; it kinda gives them freedom to go as quickly as they like and leave things out.
My Michael Jackson realistic portrait, on the outside of my left forearm has taken 6 hours in total so far and it's completed to the naked eye.. If you wanna get the Blackbird bird on your upper arm for instance, (speaking from having nearly 50 hours worth of tattoos on me) I'd say it shouldnt take an accomplished artist any more than 3/4 hours to have it on you and filled in.

I'm always toying with an Alter Bridge tattoo. I just don't know what to get really. I'm looking for more forearm area. I'm thinking of the Tremonti cover artwork, but I just can't make my mind up.
